Job Title: Data and Applications Specialist

Foundations for the Future Charter Academy is seeking a highly skilled Data and Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our student information system and other educational and business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the student information system and other educational and business applications
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Provide technical assistance and training to staff and stakeholders
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and security of data and applications
  • Coordinate and maintain data integration, synchronization, migration, validation, and reporting tasks
  • Implement and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures
  • Manage accounts for staff, students, and parents
  • Resolve incident and service request tickets
  • Plan and execute scoped projects
  • Create data reports, analytics, and dashboards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, education, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in data and application management
  • Proficient in SQL, database administration, data analysis, and reporting tools
  • Experience in basic scripting/programming using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies
  • Familiar with data standards, privacy laws, and best practices in education
