Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and establish work priorities to meet deadlines
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Electronic mail and calendar management
