Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Lines Manager to join our Human Capital Department. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, foster business growth, and make a significant impact in a dynamic insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Personal Insurance service team.
- Support team members with new business, endorsements, claims, and renewals.
- Handle complex cases and client escalations.
- Provide coaching and ensure team performance aligns with quality standards.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Deliver timely and accurate communication through verbal and written correspondence.
- Educate clients on coverage, exclusions, and exposures.
- Conduct in-person client meetings when needed.
Compliance & Process Management:
- Enforce office policies to ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
- Manage budgeting, billing, premium collection, and financial forecasting.
- Analyze operational reports and implement improvements for efficiency and service delivery.
Business Development:
- Strengthen relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers for claims, underwriting, and policy issuance.
- Drive business growth through exceptional client service and strategic planning.
Training & Development:
- Onboard and train new brokers.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development for the team.
- Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in personal lines insurance (minimum 7 years in leadership roles).
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and underwriting principles.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
