Senior Project Technologist
Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation
Richmond, BC
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, monitoring underground storage tank removal programs, and overseeing environmental remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including soil, groundwater and vapour sampling
- Monitor underground storage tank removal programs
- Oversee environmental remediation activities
- Prepare and edit technical reports
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
- 2-6 years of related experience, preferably in British Columbia
- Professional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., P.Ag. etc. (or working towards) is considered an asset
- Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
- Detail oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Availability to travel for work when required
- Valid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to work outside core business hours
