Environmental Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at Pinchin. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, monitoring underground storage tank removal programs, and overseeing environmental remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling
  • Monitor underground storage tank removal programs
  • Oversee environmental remediation activities
  • Prepare and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 2-6 years of related experience, preferably in British Columbia
  • Professional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., P.Ag., etc. (or working towards)
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem-solve
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment
  • Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Availability to travel for work when required
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work-related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to work outside core business hours
