Clinical Informatics Specialist

Interior Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Informatics Analyst I to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting information systems that cater to the clinical and health information needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- System Maintenance and Support: You will be responsible for modifying existing application programs, reviewing specifications, and making adjustments as needed.
- User Support and Training: You will provide user support and training to regional users of software applications, ensuring they are equipped to utilize our systems effectively.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: You will work closely with senior analysts, team leaders, or managers to gather information from users, design forms, and prepare data flowcharts according to established procedures and guidelines.
- System Implementation and Support: You will collaborate with senior analysts, team leaders, or managers to support the implementation of system changes and provide user support related to clinical and health information software.
- Training and Development: You will assist in developing educational training requirements and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements- Education and Experience: You must have a Grade 12 diploma and a recognized degree or diploma in computer programming or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: You must possess the ability to organize work, deal with others effectively, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, operate related equipment, and have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
