Job Title: Clinical Informatics Analyst I

Interior Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst I to join our team on a casual basis from our Kelowna location.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Informatics Analyst I maintains and supports information systems that support clinical and health information needs throughout Interior Health. The successful candidate will provide user support and training to regional users of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Modify existing application programs by reviewing specifications, coding program changes, and making adjustments.
  • Gather information from users to design forms and prepare data flowcharts from existing applications according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Communicate with users to gather information about current system uses and provide input about new system requirements and implementation processes.
  • Support the implementation of system changes and provide user support related to clinical and health information software.
  • Assist in developing educational training requirements.
Requirements:

Grade 12, graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in computer programming or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:
