We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at AL' DEEWAN BAKERY & PIZZA LTD.

Job Summary:

The Specialty Foods Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of specialty foods, including bread, rolls, pastries, and cakes. This is a key role in our bakery and requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of specialty foods, including bread, rolls, pastries, and cakes, according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet established quality standards and are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are properly stored and rotated.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Production Scheduling: Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or bakery environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Conditions:

Fast-paced environment with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.Hours of Work:

30 to 44 hours per week.
