Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at Nautical Consulting Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining accurate records. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency
  • Arrange travel and related itineraries for team members
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
