This role involves working closely with our customers and industry stakeholders to develop plans and procedures for in-service support (ISS) programs. As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive ISS program and Through Life Management Plan (TLMP) plan while leading cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage databases, research, and analyze data to identify trends and problems early on.
- Perform technical assessments, recommend improvements, and produce reports and metrics as requested by the customer and/or program manager.
- Develop Proposals, Statement of Works (SOWs), and Quotes for Emergent Work Requests, respond to Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from the customer, and perform estimates and provide technical information required to support submission of quotes.
- Utilize the customer's Information System and GDMS-C's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to collect, analyze, and monitor key elements of the program.
- Lead the Initial Baseline Review (IBR) configuration audit activities and associated report creation to document the results in support of the TLMP.
- Provide support and influence for the planning, scheduling, and execution of program docking work periods (DWPs) including repairs, overhauls, and maintenance.
- Work closely with industry partners on repair and overhaul, obsolescence management, upgrade planning, failure monitoring and analysis, and spares inventory management.
- Oversee the free flow repair and overhaul of highly complex Radar systems to ensure that repairs/overhauls are executed in a timely manner.
- Support and/or lead the development of complex Engineering Changes (ECs) including upgrades to the Radar Systems.
- Assist the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager with strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical capacity to interpret data and link to underlying causes.
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment.
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Experience working with manufacturers of defense and naval and/or aerospace equipment would be an asset.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
