About the Role

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a highly skilled Overpayment Clerk to join our team. As an Overpayment Clerk, you will be responsible for the completion of detailed and complex calculations of overpayments/underpayments incurred by recipients under the Income Assistance and Employment Support (ESIA) Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records and track workload
  • Conduct thorough analyses and cross-reference various information sources
  • Complete detailed overpayment/underpayment calculations
  • Communicate results to ESIA Caseworkers
  • Add overpayment/underpayment to the ICM system

Requirements

You must have at least four (4) years of related experience in accounting, administration, and/or bookkeeping. You should be able to work independently and under pressure, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment around issues requiring a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

Pay Grade and Salary Range

CL 18, $1,684.00 - $1,884.17 Bi-Weekly
