About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our Utilities team at Black & McDonald. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the Division Manager, you will play a key role in leading the project team and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Establish and maintain project objectives and performance metrics
  • Foster collaborative relationships with team members, clients, and partners
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality of work
  • Prepare project estimates and manage changes in scope
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Monitor productivity and cost forecasting
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers

Requirements

  • Education in Project Management, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Experience with HV Grids or utilities projects preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
