Context:

The wayside team plays a crucial role in bridging Information Technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT), encompassing fleet management systems, maintenance systems, passenger information systems, and fleet monitoring.

We're a dynamic team that requires expertise in various technologies and solutions, often involving creative problem-solving and reverse engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with analysis and development teams to translate requirements into tests.
  • Develop, validate, and execute test procedures for server-based software solutions.
  • Assist in designing, planning, and executing test environment improvements.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools for validation.

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, electronics, or equivalent.
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment, deployment, and configuration.
  • Understanding of Windows Services, IIS, Message Queues, and other related technologies.
  • Proven experience in software programming, with Python, SQL, and C# being assets.
  • Familiarity with ethernet networks and protocols, including Routing, Firewall, ICMP, TCP, HTTP, and more.
  • Basic software testing automation and Linux knowledge are assets.
  • Professional proficiency in French and English is required.
