Emergency Nurse

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interprofessional team to deliver person-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the care team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A competitive salary range of $41.42-$59.52 per hour.
