Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning food, including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes, and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Provide leadership and coaching to both full-time and part-time staff.
- Conduct interviews and hire individuals who will help grow the restaurant.
- Manage the employee weekly schedule.
- Communicate shift priorities and responsibilities prior to the start of every shift.
- Work with a team of managers and a regional director to manage and shape the restaurant profit and loss statements.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
