Job Title: Kitchen Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning food, including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes, and AAA steaks.
  • Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to both full-time and part-time staff.
  • Conduct interviews and hire individuals who will help grow the restaurant.
  • Manage the employee weekly schedule.
  • Communicate shift priorities and responsibilities prior to the start of every shift.
  • Work with a team of managers and a regional director to manage and shape the restaurant profit and loss statements.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
  • Lift items up to 30lbs.
  • The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
