Program Director Job Opportunity

Mighty Learners, a childcare and education program provider, is seeking a dedicated leader to join our team. As a Program Director, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and caring environment for young children. Our program follows the Emergent Curriculum and Project-Based Learning approaches, emphasizing play, inquiry, and individualized learning experiences for each child.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support the overall well-being of each child.
  • Ensure daily routines and schedules are followed to maintain consistency and stability.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including licensing and health requirements, enrollment, revenue, and expenses.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility to provide a healthy and safe environment.
  • Required Skills:
  • Effective management techniques to create a productive learning environment.
  • Strong caregiving skills to attend to each child's individual needs with compassion and patience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Ability to train and guide staff through various learning experiences.
  • 5 years of experience working with children to understand their behaviors, needs, and developmental stages.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
  • Knowledge of childcare and education best practices.
