Job Title: Staff Full-stack Software Developer

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Full-stack Software Developer to lead our technical team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for shaping the architecture and direction of our services, mentoring others, and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with technical excellence, shaping the architecture and direction of Neo's services
  • Mentor and guide other developers to ensure high-quality software
  • Collaborate with the team to drive technical planning and decision-making
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and bring new ideas to the table
  • Develop and review proposals for new technologies and implementations
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in the development process
  • Build complex web applications end-to-end, considering scalability and optimization
  • Expertise in back-end development, including data, APIs, queues, security, and scalable systems
  • Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, and ability to work with designers
  • Experience with technical planning and effective communication
  • Advanced experience in languages and technologies used by our team, such as TypeScript and GraphQL
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Familiarity with different data stores and databases
  • Experience working with bigger teams and projects
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Willingness to relocate to Winnipeg
