Key Responsibilities:

  • Install exterior prefabricated products, such as siding and trim, to ensure a watertight seal and a visually appealing finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Repair and service existing exterior prefabricated products to extend their lifespan and maintain their appearance.
  • Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools, equipment, and scaffolding.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, preferably in exterior installation and repair.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification.
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
