Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Booking Clerk/Secretary to join our Physiotherapy team at Sechelt Hospital. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling and booking services for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage appointment calendars, maintain accurate records, and prepare schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate patient transportation and maintain client/patient charts.
  • Provide reception services, answer phone calls, and direct patients to appropriate areas.
  • Perform clerical duties, including data entry, typing, and maintaining departmental equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 and two years of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
