Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure patient safety and compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Support to Pharmacists: Assist pharmacists in their daily tasks, including entering client information into databases and managing routine office functions.
  • Compound and Package: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products as required.
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a client-focused approach in all interactions.
Work Environment

As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to maintain attention to detail and work accurately in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
