Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at PHSA. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive cancer care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical oncology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical oncology research and best practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia.
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment.
  • Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia.
