Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead the shop operations for the afternoon shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of service technicians to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Work Organization: Plan and coordinate the daily work schedule to meet customer demands and optimize productivity.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Cost Management: Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as opening and closing work orders, preparing work orders for warranty, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a heavy equipment service department, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Certifications: Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
- Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
- Additional Certifications: Forklift license.
