We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sobeys Inc. Our pharmacy team is committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have independent authority, responsibility, and liability to prepare, process and compound prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners, ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic, and conducting the final check of prepared prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process and compound prescriptions
  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Conduct the final check of prepared prescriptions
  • Confirm the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
Requirements
  • Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
