Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lawtons. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Provide injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Ensure the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
  • Conduct the final check of prepared prescriptions
  • Confirm the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records

Requirements:

  • Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
