Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patient expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic, and provide injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies, and ensure the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
  • Conduct the final check of prepared prescriptions and confirm the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records

Requirements:

  • Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
