About the Role

As a Project Coordinator at Strata Engineering, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced Project Managers and Technical Specialists. This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of interesting engineering projects and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determining client needs and scoping projects to meet their requirements
  • Supporting the engineering and technical teams in defining project requirements, potential risks, and client communication
  • Preparing and managing construction documentation, including contracts, change documents, site instructions, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinating tender processes, including compiling tender packages, bid review, and budget projections
  • Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinating scheduling of inspections and site visits between clients and the team, ensuring necessary resources are available on time
  • Maintaining administrative procedures, including records management, project open/closeouts, quotes, proposals, deliverables, and similar tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or construction management, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as an administrator or coordinator in an engineering or construction environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Native-level English proficiency, with fluent verbal communication skills
  • Second language proficiency is an asset
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Experience in engineering or building science is an asset
  • Ability to communicate and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Proficiency in client presentation
  • Eligibility for employment in Canada
