Lead Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Remotivate LLC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our digital backbone, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire company infrastructure, including database management, ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
- Maintain and monitor the website's uptime, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems.
- Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills.
- 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
- Expertise in server infrastructure, with experience in Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms like AWS.
- Security expertise, with a deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
- Fluency in Node.js, with experience working with Node.js in TypeScript.
- Code quality, with a strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, with a preference for Pulumi.
- Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
- Full insurance coverage, with Quebec insurance fully paid by the employer.
- Vacation, with 3 weeks of vacation per year, plus an additional week off during Christmas.

- Off-site events, with opportunities to hold one or two off-site events each year.
