Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bhojan - The Indian Cuisine & Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
  • Culinary Team Management: Lead and motivate our culinary team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses and maintain a high level of profitability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Fast-paced environment: Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Handling heavy loads: Lift and move heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Physically demanding: Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
