About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Government of Canada - Central as a key member of our leadership team. As a Strategic Organizational Development Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's future by developing and implementing effective human resources policies and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs to enhance employee engagement and productivity
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish departmental objectives and formulate strategic plans
  • Mentor and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to drive business results
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, promoting a positive image and building strong relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in human resources management, policy development, and organizational change management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a related field
