Overview:

TD Asset Management (TDAM) is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President (Manager), TDAM Institutional Product to support all aspects of product management for our private asset institutional product shelf. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities for our fund suite, defining and building business cases for new product development initiatives, and managing regulatory filings and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior member of our Private Assets product management team, including potential people management and guidance to junior team members.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on product structures, including global fund structures.
  • Manage the launch of new products, working with internal and external stakeholders to identify product gaps.
  • Support our product strategy team, including competitive research and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and distribution partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience, preferably in an institutional product development function.
  • Experience with alternatives, including real assets required.
  • Knowledge of Canadian institutional investment product-related vehicles.
  • Strong leadership skills and CFA certification required.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
