Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

Leo's Home Decorating LTD. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install resilient stair components and materials on counter tops and raised platforms
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in floor covering installation
  • Strong knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
