Job Title: Flooring Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Leo's Home Decorating LTD. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in the flooring industry and be proficient in installing various types of floor coverings, including vinyl, resilient sheets, ceramic tiles, hardwood, and carpet.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture and temperature tests prior to flooring installations

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in the flooring industry
  • Proficiency in installing various types of floor coverings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
