Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

Leo's Home Decorating LTD. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Measure: Inspect surfaces to be covered and measure them accurately to determine the required materials and labor.
  • Read Blueprints and Specifications: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure that the installation meets the customer's needs.
  • Install Flooring: Install various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, resilient flooring, and more.
  • Prepare Floors: Prepare floors for installation by removing existing floor coverings, contaminants, and ensuring that the surface is clean and dry.
  • Conduct Tests: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure that the floor is suitable for the chosen material.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in floor covering installation.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
