Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Manager to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions to obtain financing, insurance, and other necessary information.
  • Prepare credit applications and provide alternative solutions for customers who are not immediately approved for financing.
  • Examine all required paperwork with customers to complete transactions efficiently.
  • Build relationships with customers to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with customers to up-sell financing, extended warranty, insurance, and chemical options to increase customer satisfaction and dealership profit.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information.
  • Evaluate deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
  • Maintain a lender guide of relevant programs and retain product knowledge.
  • Analyze credit reports to recognize conventional deals and turn them over accordingly.
  • Prepare cost special finance deals and profit sheets.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Financial Services.
  • OMVIC Certification required.
  • Dealer CRM system experience is required.
  • Previous sales experience in an automotive, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
  • Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating with customers.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Well-spoken, friendly, and articulate.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Experience with Google Suite and Dealership Management Systems is an asset.
  • Ability to use computers and peripherals efficiently and be detail-oriented.
  • Must have strong written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays.

Compensation

This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience, commission, and bonus earnings.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 per year
