Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Royal Caffe & Espresso Bar. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food preparation and service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure the efficient operation of our café.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service.
- Operations Management: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and other operational tasks to ensure seamless service.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
Requirements
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
Work Environment
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent position
- English language required
