Job Title: Security Officer - VIC

At Great Canadian Entertainment, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Elements Casino Victoria. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and assets. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrolling the casino floor and monitoring CCTV cameras to identify potential security risks
  • Responding to security incidents and emergencies, including medical emergencies and guest complaints
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborating with other departments, including security, hospitality, and gaming, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests
  • Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records of security incidents
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Previous security experience an asset; training in security and emergency response an asset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
