Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, tenants, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients, tenants, and patrons
  • Write clear and detailed reports on incidents, emergencies, liability, and day-to-day activities
  • Monitor and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations
  • Provide first aid and medical response when required
  • Perform regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security
  • Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
  • Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
Requirements:
  • 6 months of security experience or 6 months of customer experience
  • Valid security license (asset)
  • Valid OFA 1 or higher (asset)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Physical fitness: ability to walk for prolonged hours
  • Class 5 driving license (asset) for Mobile Patrol
  • Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) (asset) for work at the Airport & Port
