Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this role as Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance will have strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with experience in FP&A and knowledge of financial modeling and pricing. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Work closely with sales and operations teams on commercial pricing and contract negotiations, providing financial modeling and analysis.
  • Coordinate and consolidate month-end reporting, including financial support during start-up and development of KPIs.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to provide necessary information for monthly and ad-hoc reporting to Compass Group US and UK.
Key Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

  • New and lost business analysis, like-for-like analysis, and sector commentaries.
  • Managing and consolidating weekly forecasts and comments from sectors, reviewing and following up on outstanding variances.
  • Facilitating consolidation and reporting for mid-year forecasts done by all sectors.
  • Working with sector leads to gather necessary information for annual budget reporting.
  • Compiling financial data and completing presentations for Executive teams.
  • Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients, partners, and associates.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in finance or accounting, with a designation preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and intermediate-level functionalities (V-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively.
Compensation Package

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within a diverse and inclusive organization.
