Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre LTD. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
  • Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems failures
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Commercial building experience
