Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Loblaw Companies. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our stores, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the store is clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting floors, as well as emptying trash and recycling bins.
  • Restock shelves and maintain visual merchandising displays.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading trucks and moving stock to storage areas.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or maintenance role an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
