Position Overview

In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will be exposed, and provide service, to many functional areas of the dealer’s front, middle and back-office operations. Key responsibilities include supporting the fund operations team with audit, money moves, pricing reviews in addition to other day-to-day duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned and managing dealer relationships. Reporting directly to our Director of Investment Funds Management (IFM), the successful candidate will assist in the development of the IFM and UMA (Unified Managed Account) platform and act as a liaison with third party service providers and Aligned Capital Partner advisors and portfolio managers.



What You Will Do

  • Handle money moves related to fund custody accounts working with the custodian and third-party fund administrator
  • Daily review and reconciliation of the fund custody account and position files for any breaks or issues.
  • Collaborate with the team, internal and external partners to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking, while completing tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve custodial and client account inquiries. Anticipating and avoiding any potential issues to mitigate risk.
  • Handle trade cancellations, corrections and backdates.
  • Assist with the review and reconciliation of daily, weekly, and monthly NAV strikes.
  • Prepare quarterly compliance reports working with portfolio managers and internally on review and sign off.
  • Assist with fund audits and regulatory filings for the regulators and auditors meeting crucial deadlines.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the many functional areas of dealer operations, with the goal of being an active member in evolving internal platforms.
  • Provide reporting to various members of the firm and functional units within the organization
  • Liaise and build relationships with third-party fund managers, service providers and internal teams, advisors, and portfolio managers in a meaningful way.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of the deliverables and SLAs on the team.
