Unit Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our Food Service team at Duke & Lion Family Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Availability for shift or on-call work
- Availability for the advertised start date
- Current legal ability to work in Canada
- Willingness to relocate for this position
- Group insurance benefits
- Permanent work term
- 35 to 40 hours per week
