Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Broan-NuTone. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality technical documents for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product installation instructions, data sheets, service manuals, and reference guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Translate technical content from English to French and vice versa.
  • Participate in design reviews to understand the impact on existing and future technical documentation.
  • Produce and modify illustrations, photographs, and graphics to support written content.
  • Use PLM software to receive requests, coordinate changes, and publish documentation.
Requirements
  • Fluent in French and English (bilingual, both spoken and written).
  • Training in mechanical engineering, translation, computer graphics, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in technical writing and/or computer graphics.
  • Knowledge of Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Creo Illustrate CAD software an asset.
