Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at O/A Petro Canada/A&W Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and train a team of 1 to 2 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Operations and Logistics: Establish work schedules, manage inventory, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
