Job Summary

As a key member of our Global Public Sector team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional Debt Capital Markets (DCM) services to our European public sector clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and building long-lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pitch and win DCM mandates across various currency markets, including USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, and AUD.
  • Lead DCM execution for target clients, ensuring seamless internal processes, documentation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with global origination and syndicate desks to develop new trade ideas and bring them to market.
  • Contribute to the broader team's effort to win DCM business, including pitch preparation, client coverage, market updates, and cross-team marketing materials.
  • Advise on and execute Fixed Income Investor Relations exercises as part of RBC's value-add proposition.
  • Maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including DCM, Syndicate, Global Markets, Risk Solutions Group, and Global DCM desks.
Requirements
  • Relevant Debt Capital Markets experience.
  • Minimum 2:1 degree.
  • Understanding of capital markets products, derivatives, and/or credit experience.
  • Ability to develop and deliver longstanding relationships and client dialogue.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Strong PC skills specifically in Microsoft Office applications required.
