Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Bridge Patisserie & Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy cafe.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our staff improve their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality in our food and service.
- Manage Records and Inventory: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Recruit and Hire Staff: Identify and recruit talented individuals to join our team.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Client Focus: A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers have a positive experience.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively with our team members, management, and customers.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with our team and customers.
- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
