Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Children's Circle Montessori School.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged [insert age range]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training.
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Educator will work in a child care centre in an urban area. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding.
