Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Children's Circle Montessori School.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 0-6 years. This includes developing and implementing child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Leading activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Assisting with record-keeping and submitting written observations
  • Discussing progress and problems with staff and parents
  • Establishing guidelines for behavior and maintaining a safe environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Educator will work in a child care centre in an urban area. The work environment is physically demanding and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
