Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RS DHALIWAL FOOD INC. as a key member of our restaurant management team.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, sales, and expenses, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
- Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
