**Job Summary**

Aspira Kensington Place Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unregulated Care Provider to join our team. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents and fostering a warm and welcoming community.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation, adhering to policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and promptly report any changes in condition to the Director of Wellness.
  • Report incidents, near misses, illnesses, or problems with residents to the Director of Wellness or General Manager.
  • Provide guidance and support to Guest Attendants to ensure care assignments are completed and changes in residents' needs are reported to the Director of Wellness.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment for residents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • Successful completion of the Personal Service Worker certificate program.
  • Successful completion of the Medication Administration training program provided on-site and quarterly evaluation of competencies.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • Current CPR training.
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Previous experience with medication administration is an asset.
